Larval feeding type: On the leaves
Larval substrate: Solidago spp. (Goldenrod)
Phenology: Adult: 6/03 to 7/19 (25 records)

Comment: Ground color is pure white. Similar to H. elliottii and cannot always be reliably distinguished from a photo. Unlike H. elliottii, the species lacks terminal and median tufts on the middle tibiae. Both species have a single tuft on the fore tibiae.
