Larval substrate: Scutellaria galericulata (Hooded Skullcap), Scutellaria lateriflora (Blue Skullcap)
Phenology: Adult: 6/05 to 8/20 (6 records)

Comment: Similar to D. lobidactylus and O. delawaricus in that the front edge of the first forewing lobe is white, but this species can be easily distinguished by the solid white base to the abdomen, However, such specimens still need to be dissected to distinguish from Capperia raptor
