Larval substrate: Pilosella albiflora (White Hawkweed), H. cynoglossoides (Hound's-Tongue Hawkweed), H. scouleri (Scouler's Hawkweed)
Phenology: Adult: 7/22 (1 record)
Comment: Similar to lobidactylus and C. evansi in that they all have a white front edge to the first forewing lobe. D. lobidactylus has much narrower and pointed forewing lobes, expecially noticeable on the second lobe, and the wings generally have a rougher appearance. C. evansi can be separated by the solid white base to the abdomen. The species has also been reported from Western Massachusetts, but no details given (Matthews, 2017)
