Larval feeding type: Feeds communally in webs, up to 50 together in one web
Larval substrate: Euonymus europaeus* (European Spindle-tree)
Phenology: Adult: 6/20 to 9/01 (23 records)

Comment: All reported 'Y. padella' and 'Y. malinellus' are placed here, until larvae have been found on cherry or apple in MA; species of this group cannot be separated by genitalia or DNA
