Larval substrate: Pinus strobus* (White Pine), also Abies (Fir), Tsuga (Hemlock), Picea (Spruce), Larix laricina (American Larch, Tamarack)
Phenology: Adult: 7/17 to 10/08 (110 records)

Comment: X elimata, badicollis and praevia cannot be split by genitalia or DNA and may therefore be one species; flies late July/September
