Larval substrate: Herbaceous plants, incl. Cerastium (Chickweed), Glechoma hederacea (Ground Ivy)
Phenology: Adult: 4/29 to 6/25 and 7/5 to 9/20 (121 records)

Comment: Two generations; In Britain the moth is called the Dark-barred Twin-Spot Carpet, whereas X. spadicearia (not in NA) is called the Red Twin-spot Carpet - very confusing!
