Larval substrate: Prunus* spp., incl. Prunus avium (Cherry), Prunus domestica (Plum), Prunus maritima (Beach Plum), Prunus persica (Peach), Prunus virginiana (Choke Cherry), also Amelanchier arborea (Downy Serviceberry)
Phenology: Adult: 5/23 to 9/26 (128 records)
Comment: A specific pheromone for this species is commercially available, although it seems to be attracted to several different lures, in particular the general Clearwing Borer lure from Great Lakes IPM.
