Larval substrate: Unknown
Phenology: Adult: 7/18 to 8/18 (3 records)

Comment: A small species, about 8-9 mm wingspan. Sometimes confused with Cochylichroa hoffmanana (#3776), but that species is slightly larger (about 10 mm) and the wing markings are less distinct and there is a (often weak) basal fascia and markings along the costa at the base. In maiana the wing markings are quite distinct against a uniformly pale ground color, with no basal markings.
