Larval substrate: A large number of herbaceous plants, especially members of the Solanaceae, incl. Solanum melongena (Eggplant), S. lycopersicum (Tomato), S. americanum (American black nightshade), S. erianthum (Potato Tree), Momordica charantia (Bitter Melon), Capsicum frutescens (Tabasco Pepper), Nicotiana tabacum (Tobacco)
