Larval substrate: Ericameria linearifolia (Narrowleaf Goldenbush) has been reported, but it must have different host plants in the east
Phenology: Adult: 9/05 to 9/21 (7 records)

Comment: This is mainly a western species (as most Prolita are), with only a few records from the east. The eastern population has not been barcoded, so perhaps it will turn out to be a different species, even though Hodges (1966) determined specimens from Barnstable as this species.

Status in MA (automated assessment): Restricted distribution, rare
Status in N. America: Native
MA Endangered Species Act status: None
First Year Reported: 1960
Last Year Reported: 2021

Distribution by County: Middlesex, Barnstable, Dukes, Nantucket
Number of Records: 7
