Larval feeding type: Underside leaf-mine, pupates in the mine
Larval substrate: Rhododendron minus (Piedmont Rhododendron) and presumably other Rhododendron spp.
Phenology: Adult: 6/29 to 7/27 (2 records)

Comment: Originally described from the Great Smoky Mountains in Tennessee, but apparently not found again until it turned up at the Arnold Arboretum in Boston

Status in MA (automated assessment): Restricted distribution, rare
Status in N. America: Native
