Larval feeding type: Underside leaf-mine, pupates in the mine
Larval substrate: Amelanchier (Serviceberry), Crataegus (Hawthron), Cydonia (Quince), Malus pumila* (Apple), Aronia (Chokeberry), Prunus pensylvanica (Pin Cherry), Pyrus (Pear), Sorbus (Mountain Ash)

Comment: P. crataegella and P. blancardella are best dissected for a correct id
