Larval substrate: Unknown, but presumably grasses
Phenology: Adult: 8/27 to 9/24 (5 records)

Comment: Could be confused with Pediasia trisecta, but that species has distinctly checkered fringes. The fringes in P. laciniellus are uniformly darkish gray.
