Larval substrate: Quercus spp. (Oak), Q. palustris (Pin Oak)
Phenology: Adult: 6/30 to 7/27 (11 records)
Comment: Appears to occur in even years only; flies later in the year than simulans and only comes to pheromone (mainly S. scitula and P. marginatum) in the late afternoon and early evening (4-7pm)
