Larval feeding type: Leaf tier
Larval substrate: Morella caroliniensis (Small Bayberry)
Phenology: Adult: 7/04 to 8/16 (26 records)

Comment: Following Heinrich's interpretation of O. sericoranum, this is the species feeding on Bayberry; another type of "O. sericoranum" feeds on Sweet Fern and has not yet been found in Massachusetts. The bayberry feeder may have to receive a different name in the future.
