Larval feeding type: Feeds from a silken tube spun among the substrate, pupates in the tunnel forming a cocoon adorned with the substrate
Larval substrate: In birds nests of several species (cocoons have been found among thistle down and fine grass/root matting mixed with feathers): Eastern Bluebird*, Starling*, Eastern Phoebe*
Phenology: Adult: 6/03 to 9/17 (26 records)
