Comment: Introduced to Boston sometime before 1902 on fruit trees and apparently still occurred in the Boston area in the 1940s. It was next reported around the turn of the century on one of the Boston Harbor Islands and again found very recently. One must assume that the species has occurred at a low level continuously in the Boston area since it was first introduced.
