Larval feeding type: Bark miner
Larval substrate: Castanea dentata* (American Chestnut), Quercus

Comment: Found by CE on chestnut, possibly a different species on chestnut as it apparently pupates in a bark flap, whereas fulgidella does not

Status in MA (automated assessment): Restricted distribution, rare
