Comment: Previously listed here under H. sagitella (Dietz, 1910), but the barcode for all specimens tested points to H. spoliatella (BOLD:AAG8597). Similar to simplicella, but lacks the long antennal cilia, the antennae instead are finely denticulate beneath, with small hairs emanating from the distal side of each 'tooth'. The female has similar antennae. The discal spots are separate, whereas in simplicella they are joined. Several of the specimens on BOLD were identified by David Adamski, so are presumably correct. H. spoliatella and H. sagitella are clearly very similar, although the original description of H. spoliatella is very poor.
