Larval substrate: Pinus (Pine)
Phenology: Adult: 3/04 to 6/12 (40 records)
Comment: Easily mistaken for H. pluviata and genitalia dissection is ideally required. Even the type material of H. transfigurata is a mixture of the two species. Where the foodplants of the two species occur together, the two Hydriomena species can fly at the same time.
