Larval feeding type: In a silken tube feeding on lower leaves covered by sand
Larval substrate: Ambrosia chamissonis (Beach Bur); also reported on A. confertiflora (Weakleaf Bur Ragweed) and A. psilostachya (Perennial Ragweed)
Phenology: Adult: 8/11 to 8/30 (2 records)

Comment: As the main host plant does not occur in Massachusetts, the old records may be erroneous
