Larval substrate: Pinus (Pine), Picea (Spruce)
Phenology: Adult: 3/31 to 5/18 (85 records)
Comment: Often, but not always, heavily dusted with black scales. AM and PM lines not as prominent as in F. jocosa, when present they are white, but never outlined on both sides with black. Space between the orbicular and reniform usually edged black.
