Larval substrate: Composits, incl, Polygonum (Smartweed), Solidago (Goldenrod), Taraxacum (Dandelion), Trifolium (Clover)
Phenology: Adult: 5/27 to 9/15 (304 records)

Comment: Can be confused with Tetracis crocallata. In that species the diagonal line reaches the apex, whereas in E. confusaria it stops short of the apex and sometimes then cuts back to the costa
