Larval substrate: Umbellifers, incl. Cicuta (Water Hemlock), Daucus carota (Wild Carrot), Pastinaca sativa (Wild Parsnip), Heracleum sphondylium (Hogweed); Sambucus (Elderberry) and Viburnum nudum (Withe-rod, Wild Raisin) have also been cited
Phenology: Adult: 5/16 to 6/05 (2 records)
Comment: North American populations appear to be genetically distinct from Eurasian populations, but only western NA specimens have been barcoded so far and these fall into two BINs
