Larval substrate: Vitis (Grape), Parthenocissus (Virginia Creeper)
Phenology: Adult: 7/05 to 10/06 (22 records)
Comment: Forewing measurements have been given as 16-19mm, but these may refer to males only. The females of both species are larger than the males and female diversilineata may overlap in size with male gracilineata. Larvae can be distinguished by the presence of darkly pigmented lateral swellings on the second thoracic segment. They can be green or brown and according to Wagner (2005) they are twig mimics.
