Larval feeding type: Larva in stem gall
Larval substrate: Trichostema dichotomum (Forked Bluecurls)
Phenology: Adult: 5/31 to 8/23 (5 records)

Comment: Formerly in the genus Stagmatophora; the species is similar to E. wyattella, but can be distinguished by the pale gray, not dark, hindwings. It is possible that some old literature records refer to E. wyattella

Status in MA (automated assessment): Restricted distribution, rare
