Larval feeding type: Bores in the lower part of the stem and in the root and pupates in situ (assuming it behaves like its sister species, the European E. quadrimaculana)
Larval substrate: Stachys palustris (Marsh Hedge Nettle), Mentha (Mint), Symphytum (Comfrey)
Phenology: Adult: 6/04 to 10/01 (13 records)
