Comment: There are currently two DNA BINs under this name (BOLD:AAH5145 and BOLD:AAI6206). DNA testing has confirmed that BOLD:AAH5145 occurs in Massachusetts. The true E. beothucella probably belongs to DNA BIN BOLD:AAI6206, as that has been found in Newfoundland, the type locality of E. beothucella. This means that the species occurring in Massachusetts will most likely need a new name. The male genitalia are very similar.
