Larval feeding type: Petiole miner
Larval substrate: Populus tremuloides* (Quaking Aspen)

Comment: This and the next species cannot be distinguished based on the larva or mine and they can occur together. The adult can be distinguished, as it is silvery-gray with no white markings, whereas argyropeza is dark with a whitish fringe and an incomplete white fascia.
