Larval substrate: Solidago rugosa* (Common Wrinkle-leaved Goldenrod), Solidago canadensis (Canada Goldenrod)
Phenology: Adult: 6/18 to 8/03 (163 records)
Comment: Similar to O. delawaricus and C. evansi in that they all have a white front edge to the first forewing lobe. D. lobidactylus has narrower and pointed forewing lobes, expecially noticeable on the second lobe, and the wings generally have a rougher appearance. C. evansi can be separated by the solid white base to the abdomen.
