Larval feeding type: leaf-miner, pupates in leaf cut-out
Larval substrate: Gaylussacia baccata* (Black Huckleberry), G. frondosa* (Blue Huckleberry), Vaccinium corymbosum* (Highbush Blueberry) and possibly other Vaccinium spp.

Comment: Also included here are records of vacated mines on Vaccinium spp., which could refer to 'Coptodisca n.sp. Vaccinium' or C. matheri
