Larval substrate: Betula (Birch), Quercus alba* (White Oak), Quercus rubra (Northern Red Oak), Quercus bicolor (Swamp White Oak), Carpinus (Ironwood), Ostrya (Hop Hornbeam), Carya (Hickory), also Prunus (Cherry), Corylus americana* (Hazelnut)
