Larval substrate: Unknown; in Europe, C. pullatella is known to feed in the shoots of Dianthus species (Pinks)
Phenology: Adult: 8/08 to 10/11 (6 records)

Comment: Nearctic populations are genetically distinct from Palaearctic populations of C. pullatella. There are two taxa represented by separate DNA barcodes which could occur in Massachusetts. BOLD:AAH4284 has been confirmed twice for the State, the other is BOLD:AAC1597.
