Larval substrate: Unknown
Phenology: Adult: 5/15 to 7/24 (3 records)
Comment: Described from CT. It is a small dark species with a paler, ochreous, costa and a very few dark spots in the paler area. Wingspan 9-9.5mm. The hostplant is reported to be Gymnanthes lucida (Shiny Oysterwood), but this is probably an error. All specimens so far have been taken at light; it probably has two generations. The description matches C. hypericella rather well - and may be same species?
