Larval feeding type: Leaf tier, binding several leaves together to form a 'nest', larva overwintering in a cocoon spun among leaf debris before pupating in the Spring
Larval substrate: Comptonia peregrina (Sweet Fern)
Phenology: Adult: 8/16 (1 record)

Comment: A. arguticola, A. trialbamaculella and A. epigaeella require genitalia dissection to distinguish
