Yang et al, 2012 (Systematic Entomology 37, 686–705) split the North American populations into three native species, A. tertialis, A. plectilis and A. tennesseensis. A. tertialis appears to be the common species in MA, but A. plectilis should also occur (found in RI). A. tertialis is smaller than A. plectilis (mean FWL 9.8mm, compared to 11.5mm).
