Larval feeding type: Feeds within terminal leaves rolled and spun together in the Spring
Larval substrate: Smilax hispida (Bristly Greenbriar), S. herbacea (Carrion-Flower)
Phenology: Adult: 5/09 to 8/09 (2 records)

Comment: Single generation of larvae in April; the adult appears to overwinter, but it is not known when the eggs are laid

Status in MA (automated assessment): Restricted distribution, rare
