Larval substrate: Viburnum spp., incl. Viburnum opulus (Highbush Cranberry)
Phenology: Adult: 7/20 (1 record)

Comment: A specific pheromone for this species is commercially available. It is very similar to S. proxima, but can be distinguished by the presence of yellow laterally on the forecoxa and the 4th segment is yellow laterally.
