Larval substrate: Salix spp.* (Willow)
Phenology: Adult: 6/27 to 7/10 (2 records)

Comment: It shares the same barcode as the purely European S. myrtillella, which feeds on Vaccinium spp. Stigmella mines can be found on broad- and narrow-leaved willows, but it is unlikely that they all refer to S. fuscotibiella. This is probably a species complex and new species feeding on Salix are likely to be found.
