Larval feeding type: In silken webs along the undersides of pinnae, feeding on the spores; the feeding can also be quite noticeable from the upperside
Larval substrate: Ferns: Parathelypteris noveboracensis* (New York Fern), Deparia acrostichoides* (Silvery Spleenwort), Diplazium pycnocarpon (Narrow-leaved Spleenwort), Athyrium filix-femina* (Lady Fern)
Phenology: Adult: 9/28 (1 record)

Comment: Adults can be found around ferns in late June/early July and the larvae in September
