Phenology: Adult: 6/19 to 8/24 (4 records)

Comment: Landry (1991) Mem.ent.Soc.Can. 160, 344pp. (p. 334). An all-black species, which could be confused with S. eboracensis, S. pilosella or Landryia matutella. Males of this species do however have slightly thickened antennae compared to the other species. Please retain specimens for dissection.
