Comment: Characterized by a more uniform color across the wing, often ochreous, but sometimes more gray, usually with only a hint of a distinction between the basal and outer areas often darker along the costa at the base. This transition point is not as straight as in P. laticapitella. Represented by two separate DNA BINs in Eastern NA (and a third one from Western NA), so the species is likely to be split.
