Larval substrate: Ulmus americana (American Elm)
Phenology: Adult: 5/25 to 10/15 (142 records)

Comment: Formerly known as H. villificans; H.villificans (9038) is now considered a separate species occurring south of PA to FL. Currently, the only way to distinguish these species is to DNA-barcode them
