Larval feeding type: Leaf-miner initially, then feeding externally. Pupates in a ribbed cocoon, often attached to the host plant.
Larval substrate: Baccharis halimifolia* (Eastern False Willow), Baccharis neglecta (False Willow)

Comment: Described from larvae feeding on Iva frutescens, but the plant was probably misidentified. This species appears to be found everywhere in the State where the hostplant grows.
